If life were a batting cage, ideas would be the balls. Some ridiculous contraption randomly throws them at you at high speed and all you can do is swing your bat at one same as another.  Sometimes you hit the ball, sometimes the ball hits you, and sometimes you take a shot to the junk and fall to the ground in agony wondering why you ever left the house. In today’s episode, we talk about the junk shots of the music world. Songs that not only didn’t work out, but got the better of the batter to the point of unconsciousness.

Sad and alone it sits on the shelf, no others like it, all by itself. “Lets start a band!” They said with a fire, but little’d they know, they were soon to retire. Now all that is left are these 10 or 12 songs, on but one lonely album they’ll forever belong.

Some say it is better to have loved and lost than to not have loved at all, which is probably true, especially when dealing with the 8 bands in this weeks episode where we talk about artists that only made it through one album before calling it quits.
